The pistachio trash separator is a crucial component in the pistachio processing line, playing a key role in completing the hulling process and separating light debris and waste. With its horizontal design and a system that uses friction between a roller and steel blades, this machine removes remaining hulls, small clusters, leaves, and other impurities from pistachios, preparing them for the washing stage.

How the Machine Works

Pistachios that have passed through the hulling machine enter the trash separator. Through controlled friction between the stainless steel-covered roller and steel blades, debris is separated from the pistachios. The cleaned pistachios exit from the front outlet, while the debris exits from an outlet beneath the machine.

Initial washing of the pistachios occurs simultaneously with the trash separation process via a water flow, and the cleaned pistachios are then directed to the next stage: the washing basin.
