Introducing the Pistachio Green Huller (Karky Machine)

The Karky Machine, also known as the Pistachio Green Huller, is a fundamental piece of equipment at the beginning of the pistachio processing line. It simultaneously performs the initial washing and hulling of green pistachios. Pishtazan Sanat Rafsanjan Company designs and manufactures this machine in both manual and automatic models, and in small, medium, and large sizes, to meet the needs of pistachio processing terminals with varying capacities.

How the Machine Works

This machine operates based on mechanical abrasion. Pistachios are placed on a rotating plate at the bottom of the machine and come into contact with the stainless steel walls, which feature regular diagonal grooves. As a result, the green pistachio hulls are abraded and separated from the nuts, with initial washing also occurring concurrently.

As the machine operates, water should be continuously sprayed directly onto the pistachios. This ensures better hulling and washes away any remaining hull residues.

Dual Output System

The machine features two separate outlets:

• The front outlet is for the hulled and clean pistachios.
• The rear outlet is specifically for debris, hulls, and waste.

This intelligent separation facilitates subsequent processes and reduces contamination within the production line.
